Handmade in Brooklyn

I am a Brooklyn based potter and ceramics teacher addicted to the creative problem solving innate to the creation of pottery. I love how the act of figuring out how to make something work builds community in a studio.

Community and meals have always been central to my clay practice. I deeply value the practice of creating functional vessels that will be handled by family, friends, and guests. I first began throwing on the wheel at 10 years old and have been creating decorative and functional ware for nearly two decades since then.

You can find my work at two coffee shops in Crown Heights, Polly’s Cafe and Villager. Pioneer Works in Red Hook is also currently carrying some of my ceramic earrings for the holiday season. You can also find some of my work at The Little Shop Judaica store in Baltimore, MD.
